A conventional meaning for Jap(u) is to recite, to repeat, or to chant.Meaning of Jap(u) įollowing are some accepted meanings of Jap: Related to Jap ji is the Jaapu Sahib (Punjabi: :ਜਾਪੁ), the latter is found at the start of Dasam Granth and was composed by Guru Gobind Singh.
